I’m passionate about creating workplaces where people can thrive. I founded Learning for Life to give younger generations an opportunity to start good leadership and communication habits from the start, with a big impact on their self-confidence and happiness, their life and work and I believe later also on society. I design and lead global leadership programmes and consulting interventions that help people learn, perform and transform through experiential learning. I’ve also worked as a consultant and coach with individuals, teams and organisations to evolve support their ambitions. I now know from experience that when trust is strong and learning feels safe, people find the courage to do incredible things. My approach is rooted in Humanistic Psychology and draws on Gestalt and Transactional Analysis, which guide me in building the trust that leads to genuine change. I hold an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire and an MSc in Change Agent Skills and Strategies from the University of Surrey. I have been an accredited coach since 2005, currently with the EMCC as a Senior practitioner. I grew up in France and live in London. Outside of work, I enjoy painting, gardening, Qi Gong, playing tennis and baking bread.
I care deeply about helping people and teams navigate the complexity and uncertainty of work and life. I joined Learning for Life after speaking with a senior leader who lamented “I wish I had the chance to learn all about of this earlier in my life”. I believe giving young people the space to understand themselves and how they relate to the world around them is something that can make a real difference, both now and later in their lives. I work as an independent consultant and executive coach, supporting individuals, teams and leadership groups to develop confidence, influence and impact in ways that feel authentic and sustainable. At the heart of my approach is good listening and a curiosity about the systems people are part of. I’m influenced by humanistic and relational thinking, including systemic coaching, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis. This helps people step back, notice patterns in how they work and relate, and experiment with changes that genuinely make a difference. I hold a BA (Hons) in English from Oxford Brookes University and am an accredited coach. I live in Hertfordshire with my wife and two children. Outside of work, I enjoy playing football and guitar.
I love the work I do because I enjoy coming alongside others to help them think and act differently. I enjoy encouraging people to be curious about their own experience and that of others, to develop the skills of dialogue and the courage to imagine new possibilities and try out new ways of doing things. As an experienced leadership developer, executive coach and change consultant, I believe that change happens one conversation at a time, whatever our age! I started my career in marketing and sales for Unilever and lived in Amsterdam and then Paris. In my early thirties, I studied for an MSc in Organizational Psychology and had my own ‘light bulb moment.’ I realised my real interest was understanding what factors have the potential to make work fulfilling and change exciting rather than anxiety provoking. Since then, my own work has focussed on helping individuals, teams and organisations co-create environments for human thriving, rather than just surviving. With colleagues, I have designed and delivered a range of high impact leadership development programmes for the NHS, NIHR, Senior Civil Service as well as the charity sector and private sector. I am also an executive coach, mediator and Professor of Change and Leadership at Ashridge / Hult Business School. I have written a range of books with the intent of making theory practical and useful for those out there in the thick of it. My PhD was on the topic of work identity and I have a Masters in Executive Coaching. I live in Norfolk, am married to a doctor and have a daughter teaching in inner London and a son who is a medical student in Edinburgh. We also have a Scottie dog called Talisker.

I’m passionate about leadership that starts with being human. I believe real change begins when people slow down, reflect, and feel safe enough to look at themselves and their impact on others. This sits at the heart of my work and is what draws me to Learning for Life: creating learning spaces, including the younger generations, where growth is meaningful and sustainable, and where conscious leadership and communication patterns are shaped early on, strengthening their confidence and wellbeing contributing to a more humane world. I work as a leadership facilitator, senior executive coach, and author, designing and leading development programmes for leaders, teams, and organisations across sectors. I believe my work matters because leadership shapes culture, and healthier cultures create the conditions for people to flourish, experience wellbeing, and grow, both individually and together. My approach is human-centred, reflective, and experiential. I don’t offer step-by-step formulas. Instead, I create safe, challenging spaces where people can explore their own assumptions, experiment with new responses, and find language for what is often felt but not yet spoken. Reflection, psychological safety, and practical relevance are my guiding principles. I hold an MSc in Business Administration, and I am an EMCC accredited senior coach. I bring hands-on experience as a leader, alongside deep knowledge and expertise in subjects such as personal development, leadership, change and collaboration. Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with my family or friends, and I love good food in combination with a healthy lifestyle. I’m based in The Netherlands.
I believe that organisations can be both more successful and happier, more fulfilling places to be. My work over the last 30 years has been about helping managers at all levels develop their leadership capability, and working with organisations to develop their capacity for growth and clarity of purpose. I’ve been privileged to work with a wide range of organisations in over thirty countries around the world. My work involves activities such as senior team facilitation, executive coaching, the design & delivery of global leadership development programmes, action learning, change management, and teaching on Masters level leadership programmes. I graduated in Economics from Southampton University, and have an MSc in Organisation Development from Sheffield Business School. I’m currently adjunct faculty at Hult Ashridge, & visiting faculty at the University of Lucerne. I am also a Director and Boeing 737 flight instructor at Voyager Flight Simulation Ltd. I’m passionate about sharing lessons about leadership, psychological safety and culture in aviation with leaders in other organisations. When not flying, I love dogs, cooking, good food and good wine.
Helping people explore more deeply themselves, and their relations with others and their organisations, to discover and unlock purpose, meaning and new insights is what I’m passionate about. I believe that meaningful conversations enable this to happen: honest, supportive, and at times challenging or even playful, dialogue is an essential path to access such learning, and I am grateful for the privileged role I have in creating and holding such a space. As an experienced leadership facilitator and organization development consultant/coach I lead and deliver global learning programmes, as well as team and organisational development interventions. I enjoy exploring with others the more challenging, human, aspects of working in organisations; both the visible ‘above the surface’, as well as what is ‘out of sight’, beneath consciousness. I believe that working with what is present ‘in the room’, as well as simulations / exercises, dialogue and theoretical framings are vital for learning to happen. This unique blend is adapted to the needs of participants in a safe and co-created manner, and remaining attentive to the emergent learning needs is as important to me, as delivering the planned learning. I hold an MSc in Organisational Psychology (Bristol University), and an MA in Systems Psychodynamics (Tavistock Clinic). My approach is grounded in this background, with gestalt and other relational schools of thought influencing me too. I am married and have 3 children, live in London and enjoy walking my dog, doing yoga, creating ‘interesting’ pottery pieces, and spending time with close friends (which usually includes me cooking them spicy meals!).

I am passionate about co-creating conditions for individuals and communities to thrive and engage in purposeful change. I feel very fortunate to do this work in a number of ways, through one-to-one coaching, Team Development & wider Organisation Development initiatives. I bring a relational approach, influenced by systems thinking, complexity, and humanistic traditions. I pay careful attention to forming strong partnerships and working alliances to help individuals and teams see themselves more clearly, so they can act with more choice, coherence, and compassion. I am an accredited Executive Coach, Coaching Supervisor and Team Coach, as well as a Professor of Practice at a prestigious business school. My clients value my capability to create safe spaces for deeper inquiry, reflection and dialogue in service of learning and transformation, at the individual and organizational levels. I grew up in Ecuador, currently live in France, and work mostly throughout Europe. I am married to a lovely French man. We have a very wise and determined teenage son. I enjoy walking (or cross-country skiing in the winter) as well as music (I am currently learning to play the cello).
Work can be a part of our lives through which we flourish, and relationships are at the heart of that flourishing; our relationship with ourselves, the work we’re doing and the people with whom we’re working. I find it hugely rewarding to work alongside leaders to develop their understanding of themselves, their sense of purpose, how they relate to others and what’s needed to enable success. Learning for life creates a wonderful opportunity for people to do this development early rather than later in their career, opening up so many more possibilities over their working life. I have over 25 years’ experience of working in a wide range of roles within the public sector, with the common thread of facilitating and leading organisational and system wide change. Underpinning my approach is the assumption that change happens when people can appreciate the multiplicity of perspectives that exist in a particular context, when they are able to listen to, and understand, more of themselves, each other and what’s happening in the wider system. I am a qualified coach, hold a Masters in leadership and improvement from Ashridge and a postgraduate Diploma in Person Centred and Psychodynamic counselling from Edinburgh University. Alongside my organisational work I am a member of the BACP and work as a practising therapist. When I’m not working I love to be outside; gardening, cycling, walking and swimming in the sea.
I am driven to help people be the best version of themselves, especially when relating to others. I believe in Learning for Life because it delivers a vital opportunity for younger generations to grow and thrive in any environment. Empathy is at the core of my work. I notice it has the power to dramatically shift mindset and behaviour; it builds healthier, more honest relationships and inspires courageous choices. My expertise is in experiential learning, bridging the gap between knowing and doing. I am a leadership facilitator, impact and executive coach with a background as a working actor who also happens to be a qualified yoga and fitness instructor. I use my diverse skill set to tune into the learning needs of the individual drawing upon psychoanalytical, leadership, coaching, acting and yoga methodology. I have a BA hons in English & Drama, ILM 7 Executive Coaching and Mentoring Diploma [currently a senior practitioner with EMCC] and a Postgraduate Diploma in Acting. I am a qualified yoga teacher and breath coach with the British Wheel of Yoga / Yoga Body and a Strengths Deployment Inventory certified facilitator. I have an indomitable spirit for adventure. I love to box, being in nature and doing anything that ignites my curiosity.
