Our approach
At Learning for Life, we believe change comes from having new insights through reflection and conversation, then trying new ways that can snowball into lifelong habits.
How we achieve transformational outcomes
-
We carefully select models and concepts that become a toolbox available when a life issue presents itself.
-
We offer skills practice that our participants tell us they apply in their daily life ‘by osmosis’.

-
We create an opportunity for young people to address their live, current life challenges and questions with peer coaching and within a learning community based on trust, non-judgement, intimacy, and a balance of support and challenge.

-
As facilitators, we engage authentically with learners in an adult-to-adult manner, treating them as unique, trustworthy individuals able to make commitments and choices and to be accountable for their behaviour.

Our learning model:
Discover & Try
-
Discover and try – Learn some key human principles and new approaches and try them out for size.
-
Reflect and choose – Make sense of what works for you and decide what will become new habits for your next you.
-
This rhythm helps change take root - gently, meaningfully and sustainably.
Reflect & Choose
Our learning philosophy
We’re not about monoculture or making everyone the same - We’re like a botanic garden: nurturing everyone’s growth in the environment that helps them thrive.

We’re not about filling people with content -
We offer a tasting menu, encouraging learners to take what works for them and leave what doesn’t.
